At BFF Bengals, our adoption process is designed to help each kitten go to the right home. We take time to learn about your lifestyle, experience, preferences, and what you’re hoping for in a Bengal so we can guide each family toward the best possible fit.

Process Overview

Submit the Waitlist Application

Start by completing our waitlist application. This helps us learn about your home, experience with cats or Bengals, lifestyle, other pets, nutrition plans, and what type of kitten personality you’re hoping for.

Join Our Waitlist

We Review Your Application

After your form is submitted, we review your answers and may reach out with follow-up questions. Our goal is to make sure a Bengal is a good fit for your home and that we can support you through the transition.

Approval & Retainer

A $500 non-refundable retainer/service fee is required to join our waitlist and is applied toward the $2,500 kitten price. The remaining $2,000 is due at pickup. The retainer is not a deposit for a specific kitten and does not guarantee immediate placement.

Kitten Matching & Updates

We consider availability, temperament, sex, color or pattern preferences, and overall family fit. While preferences matter, personality and long-term success are always our priority. Families receive updates as kittens grow and as placement timing becomes clearer.

Go-Home Planning

As go-home time approaches, we coordinate pickup, meeting arrangements, or transport options. We’ll help you prepare for your kitten’s transition with feeding guidance, care details, and support so your kitten can settle in confidently.

BFF Bengals is currently offering introductory program pricing while our Bengal program continues to grow and become more established. This does not reflect a lower standard of care, quality, or value. Our kittens are raised with intentional care, daily handling, enrichment, nutrition guidance, and lifelong breeder support.

Pickup, Meet-Up, or Transport Planning

When it is time for your kitten to go home, we’ll work with approved families to coordinate a safe and realistic plan. Depending on location and timing, this may include local pickup, a planned meeting location, or approved transport options.

Transport details, timing, and any related costs are discussed individually before go-home.
